Parking is ample, and all guests need to park in the driveway so as to not block the view of the front yard for all guests on the property.

A refundable damage deposit is collected via Venmo, or personal check 3- days priori to occupancy and held until housekeeping has verified that there has been no excessive cleaning required, damage or theft. A refund will be issued back to you within 4 days of departure.  Any fish processing on the property or smoking/vaping in the house will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.<br />

Self check-in with keypad . Code will be sent a few days before arrival.  If I can accommodate early arrival or late check out I will. 


Our place is not suitable for small children!  This home has beautiful Alaskan decor, and no place for children to play. Beds cannot be moved to accommodate children.  It is also not child proofed. Dining seating is a bar with bar stools. Children need to be at least 10 years old.

No events or parties.  If in question, please ask.

I am always available by phone call or text.  We have wonderful people that help us in the area when needed!

This kitchen is amazing!  With a commercial stove/oven, lots of counter space, dishwasher, you will feel at home!  There is also a blender for smoothies!  The seating is an 8 stool bar!  There is various tables for seating outside.  There is also a shared BBQ available.

We are central to all tour areas of the Peninsula, close to fishing on the river or the Inlet & town

Maximum occupancy is strict to 4 people.  

shared BBQ outside, with various seating available.  There is a small table that seats 4 on the shared patio, 2 benches that convert to tables, that can be put together to create a standard picnic table, in the front of the houses, and a Cache with a table underneath as well. 

Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the homes or on the decks.  There is a designated smoking area with receptacles for butts in the front yard.  If smoking occurs in the home, you will forfeit your entire deposit.  If butts are found thrown anywhere except the receptacles provided, you will be charged and extra cleaning fee!  

We do not have cable tv.  We have however installed a Amazon fire stick in each TV. You are welcome to sign in to your own Amazon account on the TV to receive your Prime TV, Netflix, etc.  There is a reminder to sign out of your account on the check out list.  There is also an ever expanding DVD library available in the laundry area.

We reside in Southern California, but hope to make Soldotna Alaska our home in retirement!  Our love affair with Alaska started 20 years ago, and in 2018 we fulfilled a lifetime dream of owning a log home there!  We love sharing this beautiful home with others who are discovering the breathtaking beauty of Alaska for the first time, or come back year after year!

Alaska is a scenic view!  We do get Moose on the property quite often, so always look first!
